Lion's Den

Here's the logo for Lion's Den at Edwin's fight on Dec. 15th. on HDNet. He started off in charge but got caught in a kimura. He was game as hell though. He has to have some damage to his arm. Much respect.


The shirts didn't get executed the way we intended because of a time crunch. But the logo is looking good...

These are for his upcoming fight on December 15th vs. Frank Trigg on HDNet. He's taping the interview this weekend in LA and will be wearing the shirt. The corner guys will be wearing them during the fight as well.

LJ had an off week and had his paintings delivered. The color jumped off the walls in his house and he's thinking of ideas for some other pieces. Now he's back in Miami banging heads again.

Got to see the Chiefs vs Chargers last Sunday. Thanks to Kyle Turley for the tickets. And thanks to Shane Olivea for a great dinner after the game.
Great win for sure. Pretty hard to walk out of that place after a loss. So this was much better...

LJ Shelton, Miami Dolphins (this one shows him with Arizona)

LJ Shelton has commissioned 4 pieces and I have finally finished the first one. He says this one is going in his bathroom! The other three are big and are being designed to hang together as a group. Should look kick ass when they're done.

After I get done with LJ's pieces, Ronnie Brown, also of the Dolphins, is having three paintings commissioned. So I'm looking forward to those as well.

The drummer for Pimpadelic, Belly Ray Vyrus, asked me to do a flyer for an upcoming show. The picture is of the lead singer, Easy Jesus Coe. He is one crazy MF so the picture does him justice. Seeing this band live is something you won't forget.

PDM shirt design

This is old but I thought I'd use it to show how I start with a few ideas and narrow it down to the finished product. This was a shirt design used by Perpetual Death Mode. Kyle Turley was the bass player and they did some Slayer covers that were unreal...

Invitro T's

Just finished a T Shirt design for the band Invitro. The design will be used for the Family Values Tour. They are signed to Gridiron Records that is owned by Kyle Turley. They are going to be huge. Their first album, When I Was A Planet, is due out soon. Oh yeah, they open every show in aluminum foil masks and lab coats. Off the wall. Stay tuned...

Bad Ass Central

Went to a party at Jay Glazer's house in Scottsdale. Unbelievable view from the balcony. There were so many fighters and pro athletes there that you got the impression you shouldn't do a lot of mouthing off or start any shit. So I proceeded to get really drunk and then got choked out at about 4:00.

Alex "The Assassin" Karalexis. He said his biggest assets are a bad attitude and a big right hand. He is currently in the IFL but most people know him from the Ultimate Fighter. One tough MF.

Simeon Rice from the Tampa Bay Bucs. Still kicking ass in the League. Big time player for years. Real laid back dude, too.

Jared Allen from the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS. I hope Carl Peterson pays him the money he's earned so we can keep him. He quit drinking and is at 265 lbs. He's training MMA with all these fighters here in AZ. Looks like he is on a mission this year. Really good to hang out with him.

Jermaine's wife, Mesha, commissioned this 48"x48" portrait of Jermaine and the kids for Father's Day. The colors give it a Caribbean or Jamaican feel. Irie.
